Burnsville Fire Soccer Club The Burnsville Fire Soccer Club (BFSC) is a community-based soccer club serving the cities of Burnsville and Savage in Minnesota, and students of Independent School District 191. The BFSC provides both recreational and competitive playing and training opportunities for school-age players. Although a community-based club, the Burnsville Fire has built a reputation for excellence. We are one of only two clubs in the state to have captured a national championship (1992 U16 Girls), and produced two national team players (Holly Manthei, Leo Cullen). Burnsville is a southern suburb of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota, a major metropolitan area of 3 million people. On the southern bluffs of the Minnesota River and straddling I-35 where it splits into 35W to Minneapolis and 35E to St. Paul and about 13 miles south of both, Burnsville is ideally positioned as the "Gateway to the Twin Cities." In addition to easy access to both downtowns, Burnsville is 15 minutes or less from the Mall of America, Valley Fair Family Amusement Park, Minnesota Zoo, Mystic Lake Casino and much more! Through close partnerships with the City of Burnsville, the City of Savage, and the Burnsville Athletic Club (BAC) the BFSC works tirelessly to provide playing experiences for our youth. |
