2008 Fall Competitive League Play
Each team plays three home games at city parks in Burnsville and Savage and three away games in other communities. Burnsville is in the state's South District, with typical opponents including Apple Valley, Lakeville, Eagan, Rosemount, Prior Lake and Bloomington. Rochester, Northfield, Owatonna, Farmington and others are occasionally in the leage as well.
Schedules will be announced on Thursday, August 28. Games may begin Saturday, September 6 and must finish by Sunday, October 12.
In rare instances of extreme weather or vulnerable field conditions, the club may cancel all games on a scheduled play date. In these cases a notice will be posted on the front page of the club web site and an email will be sent out to all players and coaches in the program.
In cases of inclement weather (lightning, tornado, hail) the coaches of the opposing teams may communicate with each other to postpone a match. In such instances, it is the responsibility of the coach to notify their team by phone, AND to notify the club referee assignor, Ted Cahill at 952/215-8303).
