Volunteering

The functioning of the club is dependent on countless volunteer hours. Currently we are looking for volunteers to assist with the following tournament chair positions. Each of these positions currently has a volunteer chair person. The assistant would help with the responsibilities of the position with the possibility of chairing the role for future tournaments. The assistant positions we are looking to fulfill are:

Assistant Tournament Director:
            Assist the Tournament Director with his/her responsibilities including but not limited to: overseeing the tournament, assisting chairs resolving issues and helping ensure that the tournament is successful.

Assistant Marketing Chair:
            Assist the Marketing Chair with creating and publishing the tournament program, determining any special marketing items such as U9/10 team water park or coaching clinic, hotel discounts for out of town teams, etc.

Assistant Event Chair:
            Assist the Event Chair with arranging the events that will be offered during the tournament.

Assistant Concessions Chair:
            Assist the Concessions Chair with lining up organizations to run concessions during the event and help to run/set-up/take-down the BFSC concession stand(s).

Assistant Registration/Volunteer Chair:
            Assist with sending information packets to visiting teams, prepare registration packets, handle team check-in including possible off-site check-in, fill volunteer slots.

Assistant Trophies/Trinkets/T-Shirts Chair:
            Assist with making decisions on and handling purchase of awards, T-Shirts and trinkets, coordinate t-shirt pre-sale orders and tournament weekend sales, work with Registration Chair on team check-in packets.

Assistant Scoring/Scheduling Chair:
            Work with tournament director and other chairs to prepare schedule, staff scoring facility during tournament, provide requested schedule documents to other chairs.
