2008 Fall Recreational League
The Fall Recreational League is the original youth soccer program in Burnsville. The league was founded in 1971 with the help of Burnsville Sr. High Varsity Boys Coach Ted Seidel to introduce soccer to the community and support the newly formed Burnsville Varsity program.
Now in its 37th season of play, the Fall Recreational League regularly puts 1000 Kindergarten through 12th Graders on the field each August-October.
Teams are formed around the 10 ISD 191 Elementary Schools, 3 Junior Highs and the Senior High. Teams typically practice in a neighborhood park on a schedule they set for themselves. Eight league games begin the Saturday after Labor Day and teams play twice a week through the season-ending FIREfest, October 3-5.
Registrations were accepted through July 13, 2008. Team Formation began July 14, 2008 and all registrations received after that date incur a $25 late fee AND the player is placed automatically on any underrostered teams regardless of school affiliation.
Registration Fees include a full uniform (jersey, shorts, socks), referee fees (Under-12 and older), field and equipment costs, BAC, MYSA, USYS and USSF registration fees, background checks for all coaches, supplemental insurance coverage for all participants, participation awards (Under-6 through Under-10), merit awards (Under-12 through Under-18), coach education and more.

The fees above are the standard registration costs. At this point a $25 late fee will be added to all registrations.
